How Did We Contribute?
This project has been a true labor of love—produced, directed, and edited entirely by our team at Time Thread Studios. We’re proud to present this trailer as a proof of concept, created with the goal of securing funding for the feature film. It reflects not only our vision, but the dedication and craftsmanship we bring to every frame.
What was Our Process?
Our Creative director, Alex Zarfati II, had many conversations with Executive Producer Lauren Deluca on the topic of healthcare and what she was personally facing as a chronic pain patient. As time and the story progressed, it became obvious that there was a documentary to produce.
The movie was created around the corruption of the American healthcare system and touches on the topics of CDC guidelines, chronic pain patients, and the business that is healthcare. We aimed not only to expose the problems in healthcare, but also to humanize an issue that is constantly overlooked in our current healthcare system:to a lack of individualized care.
